    Hey to you all,

I have a wondering that I was hoping some of you guys could help me out witt.
I'm a skier in Iceland and a member of the Icelandic junior national team and since I'm not going to college untill the fall off 2012 I'm looking for a club or a college ski team to train with for couple of months or so during the 2011-2012 season.
Can you give me any points on where to start acctually and wich teams/colleges would considder taking in a prospective foreigner to train with them?

    thanks in advance
    Kris

Do you have a part of the US that you are planing on being in? East coast? Midwest? Rockies? West Coast? Each area is different, but there are ski teams in each. Is your goal just to find a group to train full time with?

You could check into training with Craftsbury (VT) or XC Oregon. I personally know some people that train with Craftsbury and it sounds like a great environment. Maine Winter Sports Center in Fort Kent, Maine might be another option. I know they have a very good program. All of these attract college-age skier, but are not associated with colleges as far as I know. Both all are very good programs with many high-level athletes.
