    Hello!

I am thinking of buying new skate boots... the Madshus Nano being one of the options. Is anyone skiing with them? How do you like them? etc..

    Thanks!

The Madshus are very comfortable, stable, warm, well-built boots, the lightest on the market I think, an excellent buy. They, along with the Alpina, have laces, which I find are way better than the pull closure. The Alpina boots are also a good choice. Warmth aside, which I haven't tested in the skate boot - the classical is definitely ok - the Alpina is the lowest of all the boots to the ski, which is a good thing, although the Madshus is not far behind. Unfortunately for me, Alpina US refuses to import more than a smattering of half sizes.
