ps doesn't ski race, doesn't train for skiing, calls us ski racers Nord-tards - and yet for some reason he blogs on fs

    he's The Fasterskier Blog-tard

Patrick is a good guy all around. I have fun teasing him and I do enjoy his posts. He does research Langren articles and keeps us apprised sometimes of the bigger picture.

I have already tagged him "WENB" which fits for me.
He is an Alaskan, he's into Burning Man (if you don't know what that is... well then... )

Unlike most of the other TOTAL LIGHT WEIGHTS who act all brave in blogs, Stinson like an old time reporter
says let's go have a beer and talk things out.

Yup kicked his butt pretty good in fooseball in so doing.

All this commentary at FS without either picking up the phone or going face to face and saying hey....

    IS TOTAL CRAP!

Stinson is a good guy and we are at total opposite ends of the cultural spectrum yet I'd buy him a beer ANYTIME! Then kick his ass in Fooseball!

    Cheers...

    here's food for though,

how about fasterskier starts by cutting all the ridiculous amount of blogs instead of letting every single tom-dick-and harry blog because lets face it, most of the blogs on fasterskier are crap, and many of them have absolutely no contributions to the cross country skiing world other than to be like "hey look at me, since i can't get anyone else to read my mindless posts, i'll blog on fasterskier because they let every single person on!!!!! YAY"

    My vote goes to Birkieturkey

How about you stop reading the blogs you don't like and stop being such a little b****. Or better yet, if you don't like it, don't read fasterskier so much.

Just some food for "though" ;)

Haha I like how having an opinion makes me "such a little b****".

Well for starters, I don't read the blogs I don't like, and since fasterskier has a huge legion of master-blaster idiots and gives completely clueless people the ability to post, that makes the comment/blog section of Faster Skier a complete joke. So to answer your vitriol (look that one up) statement, I don't read fasterskier all that often because of this fact.

Furthermore, if Patrick Stinson is going to have a blog, he should have some relevance to the ski world, instead of clogging up fasterskier with his articles.

    Kevin,

I agree that Patrick's blog typically isn't relevant to elite ski racing, but then many of Fasterskier's articles do not either.
I find it humorous that you are trying to use big words. College kids seem to think they are the only educated souls out there.
Nice job this season and good luck at nationals!

By the way as much as Master Blasters can be annoying at times but they are the reason that ski racing is as big around here as it is. Without the blasters there are no sponsorships, no major marathon races, no devo teams, and basically very little financial support for post grad racers. I know they can drive us crazy and often when they have half ass ideas or attacks that are way off the mark. However, without them the ski world here in the U.S. would be in serious trouble. I guess I would maybe keep the attacks to yourself.

I say carry on Patrick. I enjoy the Langrenn articles. Thanks for what you do.

And as long as there is this vocabulary cat-fight going on, I'll just play referee and point out that vitriol is a noun. So "vitriol statement" is grammatically incorrect. "Vitriolic statement" would be grammatically correct, but simply "vitriol" without mention of the statement would be both correct and concise.

This website in general has gotten so catty and stupid. If one didn't know they would think a bunch of teenage girls were commenting, rather than a bunch of (mostly) grown (mostly) men.
