Post 11 Sept Air Travel with Ski Gear

    The 11 September Event changed air travel with evolving constraints on what can be carried on board and inspections of checked baggage.

    Is it better to carry wax kits (grip wax in particular) as carry-on (where one can attempt to explain what the strange cans contain) or as checked baggage?

    check your wax with your skis if possible. the oversize bag clearance can be done one on one with the scanner. even as carry on. i never have problem, just leave the wax remover at home...
